Traveling north on highway 101 takes us across this bridge into Florence. There are sand dunes to the west and south of Florence, however the city does reach out to the coast line. The newer part of the city is located along highway 101. That's where you'll find fast food restaurants, stores, banks, auto-shops, etc. The older tourist part of town is located on the bay front. The bay front has tourist shops, nice restaurants, the fishing industry and lots of views to snap pictures of.
