As a native Oregonian, there are lots of cool places to see and enjoy. Check out a few of my favorites below...

Multnomah Falls - Located in the Columbia Gorge is the highest water fall in the US.

This barn can be seen east of Portland when heading toward Oxbow park on the Sandy River.

Ferns can be found throughout the Columbia Gorge and the Willamette Valley.

Mount Hood - Stands alone, east of the city of Portland. There's year round skiing above the timber line.

This large chess set is at the Inn of the Seventh Mountain and is fun, if you have helpers to move the game pieces around the board.

Silver Falls - Is located south of Portland and is just one of many in the Silver Falls State Park.

One other good thing about Oregon is, that we don't have to worry about this happening off our coast. :-)
